yes, an ultraviolet sterilizer is similar..but a lot more variables are at play. exposure time, flow rate, design, age of bulb, wattage of bulb, and considering if the manufacturers bulb operates at the appropriate region of uv light. someone correct me here if im wrong....but ozone is pretty much straight-forward...hook it up, and adjust until desired ORP.
