Well, I can save Steven the call to Boston, as RAG did not go to Boston as RAG had a scheduling conflict. However, he should get on the phone again and call D.C.
6 months prior to D.C. we were working out the internet connection. I had contacted the hotel and had a connection arranged. WAMAS decided they would try to get a comped connection if they sold out additional rooms. I brought my suitcase full of equipment to provide the connection and at about 2pm on Thursday we were told that WAMAS was getting a connection.
Thus they got a router and set up the connection. Everyone was wireless except RAG as we ran a 50ft CAT5 cable right to their router! I remember this quite vividly as I ended up forgetting my cable their! ARGH! and that was good cable!
Anyhow, to make a long story short, RAG once again had a hand in negotiating and acquiring internet connections for MACNA!
