OK here is an interesting problem. I got my 2 55-gallon drums today for the salt mixing station and I was in the process of filling one up 5 gallons at a time so that I could mark it on the outside.

The problem is, no matter what amount of light I shine on the opposite side or on the inside of the drum, I cannot see where the water line is. It seems that these drums are made of a bit thicker / more opaque material. So how on earth am I going to be able to tell the amount of water I have in the drum at any given time? I want to be able to tell at a glance where I am at.
