OSB, this part of the project is for everyone to test the same batch of salt with the same batch of test kits.

After those results are reported, we can be assured that each mixing of salts (and continuing water changes) will be the same chemistry.

It will be interesting to learn if any of us has dramatically different test results after initial water has been hydrated. If this is the case, lets learn what variables are employed in mixing new salt water.

Secondary water testing can be performed on our aquariums. This prior to a water change. Then another test after the water change. Lets learn what percent of water change must take place to restore ionic levels to new water?

Lets learn if different brands of test kits yield different test results?

Each of us has a different bio load. Lets try to assertain what animals at what approximate density will require more frequent or larger size water changes.

After several weeks, we can learn from each other what differences in lighting, flow rate, dietary additions, etc. will result in different visual results with our captive live stock.
