i wouldn't use damsels as the cycle. once you add live sand and rock you add bacteria which will start your cycle for you.


As OSB said you will want a RO system.

My Opinions

Return Pump: - MAG or Iwasaki are good choices.

Powerheads - This is just what i do is i get the maxi jets and then modify them with the Sureflow 1600 mod.

Heaters - I like the Visi-Therm Stealth Heaters.

I also think the skimmer is a good choice.

Salt - I personally use Oceanic but have heard excellent things from everyone here on Marine Evironment
