OK - I have finally ordered the tank. It'll be here on the 28th of March(or so they say). After re-reading all of the advice/comments I decided to amend one last time.

I went with the 240 long(96x24x25). I experimented with some scrap plywood to see if I could reach the bottom if I had gotten a 30 or 36 tall tank. Not a chance for these stumpy little arms.

It cost $1255.00 from Glasscages.com - Home.

Here is what they are building:

96L x 24D x 25H
2 overflows with 2 - 1" holes each
and black acryllic covers
3 - 3/4" holes and 1 - 1" hole for closed loop/drains
all holes come with schedule 80 bulkheads
Starfire glass for the front panel only
(gonna be built in so I didnt see the need to do all sides)

I've got some other framing to do before tank arrives then I'll get to frame for the opening itself.

I'm going to order some of the equipment in the meantime(pumps,skimmer,etc...)

As soon as the tank arrives I'll post pics of it and probably dozens more questions.

18 days and counting................
