Went to fleet farm today and got a new battery for the motorcycle. $35

have been beating my head against the wall on this one for a while. Damn bike is just real hard to turn over.

Today I went and got a brand new battery. Put it in and the starter solenoid just clicks. It groaned and turned over once, after that the solenoid just clicked. Anyhow, if the starter is hot from the engine running has anyone had a starter that would not crank?

I am thinking the heat from the engine heated the starter which increased the impedence and thus the battery does not have enough juice to crank it over.

In a bit when I have cooled off, I am going out to clean the battery wires again and reattach and pray.

Anyhow, at least I got a 80 mile ride in on it today.
