Aquapods are smaller tanks, and also an " all in one" system. This means that fitting a skimmer on one can be tricky. Current, Aquapod's manufacturer does make the Fission nano skimmer, but I don't know how good the skimmer is or how well it would fit into an Aquapod. This is an internal skimmer that goes inside the tank.
For a more traditional tank, I'd recommend somethign like an AquaC Remora skimmer. This is a hang on tank model, and is generally considerd an excellent skimmer. It may be difficult to fit on an Aquapod.
The other consideration is that in a tank this size you can easily keep up with things by doing water changes. A 5 gal water change and you have changed about 1/4 the water.
