I'm getting ready to build a larger sump. Last time I used a table saw with a plastic cutting blade to cut the sheets of acrylic. It worked out OK but left some saw lines on the edge. Is there a good way to remove these or is there a better way to cut the sheets. I would appreciate any advice on the subject
Patrick is the man in the know. I'm sure he will answer.

I also cut mine on a tablesaw. You want to be sure and let the saw do the work. Don't go too fast. It's important to leave the paper on the piece as well. After you cut you need to sand the edges smooth. I start out with a rougher grit and work down to a polished surface or one that is free of saw marks. Even the sheets from Midland Pastics here in WI have small saw marks on them. You can use a file to remove melted plastic from edges as well. Just remove enough paper to glue up your seams. Nothing worse than dripping glue on your pretty project. Don't forget the Safety Glasses!
