I like the book by John H. Tullock entitled "Natural Reef Aquariums - Simplified Approaches to Creating Living Saltwater Microcosms." It's very informative and has a very comprehensive section on berlin style sumps: from construction to understanding the principles and theories behind their use.
Has anyone ever read the Book of Coral Propagation, Volume 1 Edition 2: Reef Gardening for Aquarists (Hardcover) by Anthony Calfo? Looks like a good book havent seen a bad review came out in Nov. of last year.

I have an older edition. It's a good book, but it covers mostly information about fragging corals. If that is what you are looking for, get the book. If you are interested in more information on specific corals or general reef system information, I think you can do better.
It is something that i know will interest me in the future but right now im looking for something that tells me how to care for different types of corals, where to place them for proper flow/light requirements..
