Very true Flipper, but as well all know mermaids are immortal! At least I'll never show my age!

How I came to RAG.

IT started one dark and scary night. I had just brought home my first sw tank. The guy at the LFS told all this wonderful stuff and sold me all the things I would need! I was READY. I set everything up and mixed my 40g of sw. Washed the sand and rocks. put everything in the tank and watched the cloud subside. :couch: Next day I went picked up the SIX Damsels for cycling my tank. Again the wonderful LFS guy sold me.

Stuck 'em in the tank and thought to myself I'm an aquarist! Little did I know the trouble I boughtr myself.

I started reading and reading... what I should have done to start with! The more I read the angrier I got. :madder: The LFS guy saw me coming!

Well I started :walking: the web thinking there must be a good forum to talk to people. That's when I googled The RAG.

I came here feeling but was quickly accepted and had my cleared up in no time. Now I call this place home.

I kick back and a few every few nights with the great folks on irc.

Thanks for being here and guiding this poor along the right path!

When I finally decided (after years of pining, lol) to start a saltwater tank, I did a Google search and found about five forums that seemed active and joined them all. I asked a few basic questions about starting a tank, what I would need, and what people thought of the Nano-Cube, and found that the people at RAG were the friendliest and most helpful. I haven't gone back to the others since.
