Do you keep the tank running if you are not quaruantining a fish? Questions arises from the fact that the bio balls take some time to start working...any thoughts?

1 cubic foot = 7.48 gallons.

20 x 7.48 = 149.6 gallons.

You should measure the inside parameters to get more accuracy. My tank is rated at 215g because the manufacturer measures from the ends of the molding. 190g is more accurate for me.

Thanks for the information. I was wondering why the manufacturer's measurement was different!
