Default Tiny bugs on glass-are they copepods

I have seen copepods in my tank before but they usually were much larger than these critters. The are about the size of the tip of a pencil and they are all over the glass on my tank. I have searched the internet and only found info on copepods and ampapods. I believe these are something else. Anyone have any idea?

Actually the larger guys are generally amphipods. Copepods are smaller and there are thousands of species.

I am sure that what you are seeing are copepods and nothing to worry about. It's a good thing. A sign of a healthy system.

Do they look like little stars and tiny round dots with a tail but transparent?

I take that back some are round with a tail and today I notices some that are star shaped. Do you know what these are? Thanks!!

They are too small for me to get a viewable picture of them.
