At this point, I think the positions of everyone have been stated, and I don't see anyone changing their position.

I would say that posts about how much money a show does or does not make, and what RAG and MACNA should to for or to each other have become moot.

I would recommend that people make additional posts only if they really have something new to add or something to clarify. This is a personal recommendation of mine, and not RAG policy.

I really do not think so DaveK. RAG has a responsibility now to expose Steven and his two sided jaw jabbering, manure smelling double talk.

Months ago we broke the news about the dealings with MACNA, we exposed the money behind it, the magazine company doing the printing for them is a perfect example. It is merely a way for him to try and save face now.

Then look at his post attacking MDP. MDP was breeding fish and nautilus before Steven was even a twinkle in his father's eye. Quite a post for Steven to attack a business professional in such a vulgar manner.

I believe these, plus many other instances show just what Mr. Pro is bringing to this years MACNA! I would say after the last few days, this thread now begins to chart a new course. A course the shows just what Steven is made of. Obviously blatant lies were exposed on his behalf, and he came unglued and lashed out at a very well respected member of our community.

Steven attacked a very generous man and accused him of being greedy when in fact MDP sent out 1000's of dollars in free merchandise to various RAG members.

I think the proof is in the pudding! MDP sends out tons of free stuff on his dime, Steven calls him greedy. Steven denies having the printing company do his flyers and printing but yet to save face, months later he returns and sheepishly admits it before we blow the cover off of it once again.

This all comes down to one final fact, this person is trying to pass himself off as an AQUA GURU aka expert who is directing a MACNA . . . .In fact, he has no real education in this arena, and has been blatantly shown to be untruthful.

Um... is it too late for a RAG member to simply offer to pay the $225 to PMASI just to settle this whole mess?

Really, I would have personally put up the $225 if it could have stopped all this. I like both RAG and PMASI. Obviously, I came to this board after all this happened, but after reading this thread, at first impression it all seems like a big mess that may have been available.

Certainly some of Steven comments (both to RAG members and myself) seem a little outrageous, certainly offensive, likely unfair... and all out of character for him. But I'm still holding out for Mr. Pro... I still think he may just be really stressed out over MACNA planning.

Btw, while I may not have been friends with Steven for very long... or even know him very well, I have yet to catch the man in an out-right lie. Even reading the email conversations between him and RAG, it doesn't look to me as if he were ever dishonest.

Sorry if I'm upsetting any RAG members, but please remember, I just got here and I'm just going by what I'm reading in this thread. And to me it just looks like a lot of disagreement and a LOT of confusion and miscommunication that just got totally out of hand.

But I may be biased. I've always liked Adman, Steven and PMASI... even if they don't like me so much anymore. And I still just have no reason to think they've been deliberately malicious, here or anywhere.

Again, I think the uglier comments by Steven were totally out of line, but still... everyone's human. And these forums can cause anyone to temporarily lose it.

Thanks for your support and clear headed perspective.

Patrick and all other RAG members,

Steven's post was an example of our comittment to be open and honest about MACNA. He wasn't "sheepishly admitting" anything. No one was hiding anything. We changed our minds because we got a great offer with a great magazine that will provide a better experience and value for our attendees.

Enjoy the next few months of scrutinizing everything we do and trying to make it look like something underhanded. As I stated before, we will open our books at the end of the show. We have nothing to hide.

Being as they do not need 3 different log ins I am sure they can use one of their other names. Additionally as much publicity as they made as being totally open, you would think it would pop up on another site?

Un-marooning them would prevent any ambiguity as to their identities; wouldn't you agree?

I would somewhat agree but I think I agree more with not giving these associated names more google rankings because they are mentioned on RAG which is quite well indexed in google.
