Default Lunar Eclipse

Hey everyone,
Don't forget to check out the Lunar Eclipse. It's already 1/4 way up the bottom left side. should be total by 9:00PM Central Time. Won't happen again for 3 years.

The kids and I looked 3/4 times but it's too cold to stay outside for more than 2/3 minutes.

It was so nice to see the earth move into place. I watched it with my doggy. Of course she didn't care too much for the cold. Anybody take nice pictures? I pulled one off the web and compared what I saw and it looks identical to what I was viewing in person.

Did you hear of the story how this type of eclipse saved Columbus from starvation? I am not sure if it's true or not.

I heard the same story. It's on NASA's website too. Very cool when it turned orange later in the eclipse.

I missed it too. The wife kept going outside with her binoculars all evening. She went to bed and I finally went outside (was too busy doing whatever earlier) and saw what looked like a nice full moon. I then went to bed.
