Rico, how is the purchase going? Have you ordered? Have you started the process of putting the rest of your equipment together. Make sure to take a lot of pictures because this is a thread I would like to see!
Sorry guys and gals. Between recovery from surgery, going back to work, and the Holidays I haven't had very much free time. The slab is in in the basement but no framing yet. In the meantime I'm working on nanos for my girls. Polly's 10 is up and running and Sarah's 29 will be started at Xmas time and will post pics in a different thread then.
I wish there was more time in the day. It looks like I'll get back to it after the Holidays. When I do, rest assured I will post many, many pics.
The same link you gave out; I just figured in what I wanted and thats the price they gave.

OK - I have finally ordered the tank. It'll be here on the 28th of March(or so they say). After re-reading all of the advice/comments I decided to amend one last time.
I went with the 240 long(96x24x25). I experimented with some scrap plywood to see if I could reach the bottom if I had gotten a 30 or 36 tall tank. Not a chance for these stumpy little arms.
96L x 24D x 25H
2 overflows with 2 - 1" holes each
and black acryllic covers
3 - 3/4" holes and 1 - 1" hole for closed loop/drains
all holes come with schedule 80 bulkheads
Starfire glass for the front panel only
(gonna be built in so I didnt see the need to do all sides)
I've got some other framing to do before tank arrives then I'll get to frame for the opening itself.
I'm going to order some of the equipment in the meantime(pumps,skimmer,etc...)
As soon as the tank arrives I'll post pics of it and probably dozens more questions.
Awesome Rico! I've been looking forward to this build thread for a while. I can't imagine you not being happy with a 96" long tank...take lots of pics.
