Politics...
I'm not a fan of politics... and all this talk back and forth between Obama and Hillary is just tiring. The news is full of it and I still don't know who I will vote for in the end!
We'll get a good candidate one of these days!~

John McCain, he is better than both Billary and Hussein Obama.

I think we should start a Reagan Party and call it RRNC. (You heard it here first!) I think Americans are tired of the lesser of two evils. The independant party isn't much better.
Joke:
A granddaughter was sitting on her granny's lap coloring in the coloring book. She asked the question, "Granny, do all fairy tales begin with, 'Once upon a time?'" "No, darling, There is a whole series that begins with, 'If elected I promise'"

I was going to hold this announcement off until I saw this thread.
It is official.
AMERICA FIRST
MDP has thrown his helmet into the political ring.
MDP for PREZ! Better yet. MDP for Emperor.
Fairness
And
Reason together
Party
MDP will run on an independent ticket. The FART® party.
I believe I am the most qualified person to deal with and solve current and future concerns.
I have workable solutions for: Immigration reform. Our economy. Education. Cost of fuel. Inflation. National defense and related security matters.
I make this pledge now. There will be no mud slinging from our camp.
I will not make any negative comments about Hillary. As I do not wish to be "Vinced".
I will not make any negative comments about the untried, unproven, domestically and internationally weak Obama. E.g. Those of us that remember Carter know what can happen when an unqualified gets into office. Please, never again 18% interest rates.
I will not make any negative comments about Mitt. (He suspended his campaign. He did not withdraw). After all, none of his children are serving in the military. They were serving our country riding around in a brightly painted buss that said... MITT.
I will not make any negative comments about The Hukster. No need to be thumped with a bible. We all have our personal beliefs.
Most importantly, no negative comments about Senator John McCain.
If there is sufficient response to this announcement, I will start another thread.

A 200 gallon reef aquarium in every house that wants one, along wih a Ferarri (your choice of color) is a slam dunk.... This can be accomplished with my revision of our educational system, existing tax laws and immigration policy.

Do what I do, make fun of everyone; this includes the people that vote. Obama, Clinton, and McCain are all one in the same. Don't get suckered into this phony notion that because they belong to different political parties, they have different values. The past 8 years has shown us that there really is absolutely no difference between the two major political parties. They all believe that the federal government should be enlarged, personal liberty and freedom should be greatly curtailed, and that nobody in America pays enough taxes. When was the last time you heard a republican or a conservative (aside from Ron Paul) speak of the Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution? Don't hold your breath.
I am a voter of principal. I don't vote for the person I think is going to win. I do not believe for one second that McCain is the lesser of two evils. He is more likely to flip flop than Clinton or Obama. So, since nobody worthwhile is actually going to become POTUS, I will "waste" my vote on an independent candidate, and continue to flaunt the fact that "I didn't vote for him (or her.)"
Since this is in the Flame room, am I the only one on RAG that thinks Sean Hannity is the biggest pussy in America?

I don't listen to Hannity. His hours are different than those I would have available to listen to him.
I think a large "change" to cause "hope" would be to have term limits for all federally elected officials. 2 terms and out. The positions are to help the people, not for the elected people to help themselves. That way, all parties would be more fiscally responsible since they don't have to promise lots of things to stay in office 15, 20, or 30 years!
The 2nd good thing would be a line item veto. A president could approve a good bill but then cut stupid wasteful spending.
