Thanks m8.

The ply around the stand is screwed on and was put on after I put the sump in. If I ever need to get the sump out (hopefully never) it's pretty easy to pop off the trim and unscrew either the front panel or the right hand side end panel.

cheers,

Mark

Should have guessed. That's the same way I have the enclosure for my nano built. It is screwed together for easy access later. Like I said before, well thought out.

Be sure to keep posting pics as you go. I will definitely tag along to see how your tank turns out.

Came across a problem hanging the lighting unit this weekend, the ceiling joist were not in the right position to fix the cables to. So I made the decision to take off the roof tiles above where the tank is so I could fit 4 joist hangers and 2 short lengths of timber above where I wanted to fix to.

Lights fitted, job done! The things we do for our fish!

Wow! That's dedication to the quality of the finished product! No doubt, this will be a system to watch. :surfing:

Just a quick update, tank arrived earlier this week, slapped a bit of paint on the back this morning.

Just waiting for my pipework to be delivered now!

Another update......

all up and running now, the sump is a little bit more cluttered than I imagined!

Electric cupboard

Approx 80kg of LR and a 4" DSB made of aragamax sugar fine sand in the main tank and sump.

cheers,

Mark
