OK - very funny.

Time to turn the thread back over to the original purpose.

Making progress today.

Yea - It's Level

And it's completed.

The wooden dolly in the corner is for the QT. It's a small room and this way I can just pull it out to work on it.

Another clever idea with the QT tank. You need your own DIY forum - "Ask Chuck."

Very True Gary. Are you sure that stand is level? When you tilt your head a little it looks uneven. J/K Looking Really Good

Working on the opposite side of the fish room today.

BEFORE: This is the remains from the old system. A 30 gal tank used to sit on that stand. I failed to think about the mini-fridge that was in this room and my wife informed me that it had to stay. Therefore, I've had to rethink this side of the room.

MIDWAY: I used the old stand and cut it down to house the fridge. Gives me a place to keep my Rum and Pepsi cold anyway. I kept it in the corner so that I could secure the framing to the wall on two sides.

ME salt now sits in the middle.

Now I have to rethink the plumbing of the salt mixing station.

I'm a firm believer in recycling. Took part of the old stand and created a new step stool. This was the part of the old stand that had a hole in it for the plumbing.

I've still got part of a "box" left so I'm going to throw it on top of the new stand for the RO drum just to lift it a bit higher. This way I can simply plumb the two barrels together and gravity feed the RO into the 55 gal salt mixer.

Wood floor in the fish room? I wish you luck.

It's Pergo. I layed it before the original system. I layed a sheet of shower pan liner over it in an attempt to keep it safe but it didn't work. I've already ruined it so at this point - who cares?
