Came home tonight with a concern. This tank, now that it is seperated from the rest of the system is at 81 Degrees. Don't laugh. I am a bit concerned simply because this tank was running at 77 because the other system has a chiller on it. Everything "appears" fine but I like my creatures to be comfortable. I have another chiller that I think I will go ahead and hook up to this tank (temporarily).

I couldn't resist. Last night I hooked up my other chiller to the 30 gal for the time being. Now my fish aren't sweating anymore. Ever see a fish sweat?

My new drums for the RO/Salt mixing station for my new setup arrived today.

Good thing I have another 3 day weekend coming up. I'm going to be very busy. Don't forget - No Mail On Monday.

Yea - I saw his. That's what made me buy them although I'm going to redesign the plumbing. Will post pictures when completed.

New stand just arrived. I saved myself a bit of cash because I have to do some of the manual labor to finish it up. This is the stand in it's rough form. I have to sand it down, prime and paint it. THEN I can think start thinking about the outer shell. It's made from tubular steel to hold a 48x24 tank. So strong that no center brace is needed. I'll have easy access under this thing.

Thanks Matt, you're the greatest. For those of you who don't know, Matt Boyd, maker of the world famous Chemi-Pure is helping me put this new system together. With his expertise, I know it's going to be awesome. And all eyes will be watching.............hehehehe
