Day off today but really haven't accomplished much of anything. I decided against trying to seal the new frame myself and SO - It's off to the Powder Coater today.

Would you believe I came within about 1/4 inch of getting that thing into the hatchback.

(YES OSB - now you know the piece of junk I'm driving)
It's a 97 Ford Aspire. Paid like $2,000 for it about 5 yrs ago. Haven't had to put much into either and gets me from point A to point B just like a $40,000 car would. I buy junk - drive it into the ground - go buy another piece of junk. I haven't had a car payment my entire life and I figure every month I don't have to put money into the junk car is money in my pocket. And I only have to feed the squirrel about once every two weeks. We do have a decent car for trips, etc.

I shouldn't have posted it at all - now the darn thing won't start without me push starting it. Looks like it may be time to start looking for another clunker.

And no - string was compliments of a neighbor.

The last time I told a mechanic that I had a problem with an Aspire he said he didn't know that there was still any on the road.

Hey, I have a friend worth millions of bucks and he drives around in an 84 Chevy S-10 Blazer with over 300,000 miles on it. Only recently did he buy a TRAILBLAZER - but didn't get rid of the Blazer. So, someone may mistake you for an eccentric millionaire type.
