Looks good. I thought about the camo returns at one point as well but never got around to it. Can you still redirect yours if necessary?

I stopped by the LFS today to see if they happened to have a big enough slab to change it as in the above photoshoped pic but they didn't.

I think I must be susceptable to something in a reef system. My fingers are all cut up with micro cuts from handling the rock all day long yesterday which I expected but any decent size nick or cut is already infected. I have a couple of areas that hurt just to even touch the skin let alone putting any kind of pressure on them.

Yeah, right to left, but not up and down.

You can always keep your eye out for one the right size and shape.

I get little cuts when I handle rock too. Don't think any of the cuts ever got infected though.

I had a friend who lost a finger to the vibrio virus by getting stuck in the finger by a live brown bait shrimp. He had some immune system issues from other health problems though. His finger turned jet black in less than two days and they had to amputate it to keep the infection from spreading to his hand and further up. There is some nasty stuff out there.

Oh - that's nice to hear. My cuts are always getting infected "if" it has to do with saltwater. Even if I'm in the ocean and get a little nick it gets infected.

This is the one that hurts the most right now.

That red area I can't even touch and the entire first joint of that finger feels like pressure is building up in it.

That's weird. You might consider wearing gloves when you fool with your tank. I hear people talking about using them, but I don't really know anyone that really does it.

I've had some in the past that have ended up eating like a hole in my finger and leave a scar when they finally heal.

I guess I really should consider gloves.

Thanks Audrey.

Tried to work today but my finger was throbbing all night and didn't get much sleep. It was actually difficult to even try and hold the mail in my left hand so I left work, made a doctor's appointment for this afternoon and then stopped by an LFS where I found a couple of nice big rocks that I couldn't resist. Looks like I will be reaquascaping at some point. These two rocks aren't fully cured though so I tossed them in a container for now.

Chuck, if you are having that kind of problems with getting cuts infected when working in the tank, it seems a no brainer to me to get some tank gloves. You never know what you might encounter digging around in live rock.

I know my friend wasn't expecting to lose a finger when he went fishing and was only handling bait shrimp.

It so hard to work with gloves; I tried didn't work for me the glove was always hanging on other rocks while I was working.
