Chuck,
your SG is reading 35ppm, is this a typo? way high...
Hmm? 35 ppm (or is that %) is dead on. Equates to about 1.026

Yes, I have repeated but don't have different kit to try. I've also gone ahead and added some buffer to bring the ALK level up some.

I started using the 2 part that is actually 3 parts additive that is supposedly so popular and started to chase numbers. I lost two corals and my tank looks like hell. So now I am back to just doing weekly water changes and no more chemicals enter the tank unless it is kalk to nuke an aiptasia!
Although I'm not losing anything, it doesn't look like it should. I don't know what else to do. I didn't use the "popular" additive. I used the Aquacraft's Buffer and DKH generator.

Changes coming soon. I've looked at one too many photos of fabulous European SPS tanks and so I'm going ZEO.
I actually started about a week ago but I've got to make some modifications.
1) I can't use Phosphate removers. That was easy. I simply took the phosban reactor offline.
2) I must run carbon. Currently using a phosban reactor but my recent Grab Bag win will make a wonderful reactor for carbon.
3) My refugium needs to be shut down. In a zeosystem, the water ends up being so nutrient poor that macro algae will not survive. I'm debating what to do this part of the system. I see my choices as turning it into a secondary frag tank or simply emptying it and adding a thin layer of sand and LR rubble for the pods. I'll probably go with the later.
4) Setting up a second tank for my softies and just making this system an SPS dominated tank. This isn't because of the zeo but simply because of the problems associated with mixed reefs. I have everything for a second tank already except a stand and I just found a FREE stand that will fit my 65 gal. I'll be picking it up on Sunday.
And ya'll thought I was done playing around with this thing.
CHAPTER TWO BEGINS:

Although my top priority at the moment is playing slave to my wife that is home recovering from gall bladder surgery, it looks like I've got a bit of time on my hands in between the "Honey Do's".
Today's Problem:
I've been unconfortable ever since I removed the legs on my light and just let it sit on top of the tank.
As you can see, one misguided kick of a ball from a grandkid that should have had the ball outside in the first place and my light would be in the tank.
Solution:
Using some scrap acrylic and small furniture gliders I've created two cradles for the light.
It's hardly visable and looks like it will do the trick. The light can now easily slide from front to back for access into the tank but it won't go side to side. I'd say it's mission accomplished.
