Not a velcro strip. That's a furniture slider. Look back at the pics that show the whole cradle and you'll see that each one has 3 furniture sliders. This was done so the the light would slide easily front to back (of the tank). The light will now not move at all left to right (well maybe 1/8" or so it can but that's it). Make sense?

I'll take a pic of the RBTA when it's fully opened today. I never did stick a power head in the back to get it to move so it is still rooted on the backside of the rockwork but does open up covering the entire top section now.
ZEO is like an entire method of running your reef. From what I've read, Live Rock is actually optional. Your system ends up running very nutrient poor. To the point that refugiums are uneeded. Ultimately, there won't be enough nutrients for macro to grow. The zeo reactor has to be cleaned twice a day (which is easy and only takes a few seconds). The "mulm" that is released from the cleaning is actually food for the corals. You do seem to be pretty much stuck with their supplements but man, I've seen some amazing tanks using it.
If you go to zeovit.com there are a couple of stickies that pretty much explain the basics of the whole method.

FTS hasn't really changed but I'll take one once the RBTA is up and about.

You asked for pics so of course things don't want to cooperate.
The RBTA hasn't fully opened all day. Here's a peek of her just starting to come up over the top of the rockwork. The color on this came out excellant. This IS the color of the RBTA.
I took like 20 FTS with different cam settings and they all are bad. I have yet to figure out how to get the color rendition correct.
Basically still empty. All the colorful frags are still in the frag tank. Since I've decided to set my 65 gal back up as a softie tank most of the corals that are in here now will come out. While I'm rearranging things I might just go ahead are redo the rockwork and push things back more to open up some substrate space in the front of the tank.

I do miss my 65 gal. and I know that it would be best for both tanks if I was to make one softie and one SPS dominant. OK - so my electric bill goes up a bit again.
I'll have the wife get a second job
