Chuck, obviously that change made a huge difference. Though I'm just getting into SPS, I have found that they don't want it to be too turbulent up top. I've had to reduce my flow to slow a decline in the frags I placed there. It seems to have worked for me so far.
I'll just have to wait till I start putting the SPS's in and see how they react.
The nice thing here is that if they don't like it, I can easily redirect the outlets.

One of my RBTA's is on the move. It squeezed through the rocks to take a peek at my newest acquisition.

Both of the RBTA's keep moving around in a big circle on the same rock. I suppose I should catch them while they are on the move and go ahead and sell them (but I like them).

I think it is just waiting until you get some really nice SPS in there and then it will go on a late night walk across the reef, stinging everything in it's path. You are braver than me.
Hmmmm - wondering why I have some nuisance algae in my frag tank?
Vial 1: RO/DI
Vial 2: Fresh Salt Mix (ME) - (must admit I made some additions)
Vial 3: Tank Water
Vial 4: Effluent from CA Reactor
Interesting don't ya think?
