This was referring to a "group buy".

It isn't out of the question and does happen although I haven't seen it on this forum. If you can find a local forum this actually happens quite frequently. I live in South Florida and there is a FMAS forum (Florida Marine Aquarium Society). I've met many local reefers through this forum and it is a great place to swap frags, sell equipment, get in on group buys, etc.

Will it replace RAG? - Hell no. This is my home.

Ha! Like I never hijacked your thread!

I decided that once I got this thing up and running, that I would take my time and let it grow slowly. It is hard, but I am sticking to my guns.

One of our local LARC members recently moved across state and had to tear down a gorgeous 135. I was his tank sitter and had several major incidents while he was away from home over the past year. He repaid me with a bunch of frags and corals - some for free and some for really cheeeep. So, I finally got a start on some serious stocking.

Octo, it is a pretty nice brain. Got it for $50! This is a "morning" shot. It will still swell up about another 30%-40% later in the day! It's almost too big for the tank.

Very nice! Love the colors, looks kind of like tie-died corduroy..

I decided to restack the rock today. I moved the large rock in the center to open up the "cave." I created more caves in the process. I think I finally like the rock work. It is hard to get the feeling of depth in the picture, but the opening in the center goes back almost the full 24" of the width of the tank.

It is now essentially two tall "islands" connected by the arch, with some rock stacked against the back wall.

Thanks! It was either stack rock or cut the grass today.

Very impressed. Nice job. It appears that you have one area (like mine) that is indented and is shaded. Your right side. What are your plans for that area?
