I may not be able to resist transfering some corals this weekend.

I still like the hidden spray jets. I may have to make a couple of rocks that will simply slip over mine.

Got my rock in this afternoon and I had to stick it all in the tank. It came in sooner than expected and I didn't have a tub or anything around to put it in. Oh, well, this is how I cured the rock in the 75. This rock was actually pretty clean and didn't have too bad of an odor.

Bet the nighbors will wonder what was in these boxes when they're out on the curb tomorrow.

100 pounds of Tonga Fusion & Kaelini rock. Nice colors and shapes. It will be fun aquascaping this tank!

The skimmer seems to be working.

Ok, after 4 days of curing my new live rock, I checked my ammonia level. What would you guess my level would be with 100 pounds of uncured rock in the tank? Off the chart? High, but not toxic? Low? How about zero?

I am having a hard time believing that there is no ammonia in the tank. I tested it with two different brands of test kits (to include the new Elos kit). There is no trace detectable with either kit. I don't understand this. Any ideas why I am not showing any ammonia with rock that I basically just threw in the tank right out of the box (after just a little swishing in fresh salt water)? I am puzzled.
