Yes, the tank is sure off to a good start. I'm going to have to get one of you guys to take some picts of my reef. Photography isn't one of my better skills.
If you had a solaris you would not even hear the fans in the canopy!
But then again! you do not work at the post office!

thanks guys Lyndon I owe it all to the camera. Imagine what there going to look like when I learn the correct way to shoot them, and get my new macro lens Ill be able to focus the camera less then a half inch from the coral. Chuck, no its had water about 6 weeks now. I added all over a few weeks. Skimmer and filtration are all working great. Coraline is already growing in BTA already split those little white wormy things are growing in there shells on the back and coral growth is tremendous under the 20K lighting, and It brings out the florescent pigment in the corals.

Yea but isn't the 6 week mark about when you should "slowly" start adding livestock?
BTA - I wasn't going to think about trying one for about a year ???
And to think that I've been relunctant to post my newest additions to my tank for fear of being yelled at for stocking too quickly. Guess I'll have to update it soon.
At any rate - It does look great.

I understand those cocerns and also worried about being flamed, but all the rock was cured and they are pretty small frags. they were all added over a 2 week time wiyh constant monitoring. all parms are great and everything is doing very well. the filtration is about 90g as well. Then again I didnt have much choice seeing part of the deal with my wife for the total upgrade was to remove the 72 from the living room. most of that rock went in with the rock I cured in the basement for 2 months.
