Everything is in the tank.
I have done absolutely no aquascaping. yet.
I think I need to sit with it for a several days
get to know the rocks in the tank
feel where they belong.
very ZEN.

Chuck I had removed all of it but for one rock that I left it on. I just kept that in check.
I cleaned that rock as I cleaned the second shipment.
It is pretty much all gone. I will be on the look out for it incase I mised a bit of it. There was a lot!

Some Red macro algae grew in one rock. You can see it in the left side pic.

I have now spent 2 weeks with my TBS rocks.
Ammonia was always low after part 2 of the TBS was added.
I fought High Nightites and Nigtrate mainly due to a dying Red tree sponge.

I have gotten to know the LR and they have guided me to their proper postions in the tank.

I removed all but two rocks from the tank and placed them in 3 other containers and a 5g bucket. The two rocks that I did not remove were from the 1st part of the TBS rocks. They are large and they were already in their proper place. I then added the rest of the rock into the tank piece by piece paying attention to their size, shape, decorative features, and living creatures on the rock and these Hitch Hickers postion on that rock.
I wanted caves, overhangs, shelves, and the appearance of depth in this standard sized 55g tank. There is only one rock that touches the back wall of the tank so I can get good flow around all the rock.
I wanted to leave substrate in the center of the tank fairly clear.

What do you think??

I have exactly 90# of LR
along with 85# LS

After I aquascaped I was surprised by the amount of room I still had.
It seemed like so much more when I had just thrown the LR in there after I first got it.

Soon the real fun part starts when I can start adding some corals.
I probably wont be adding any fish until after the first of the year.

It's coming along very nicely. It is refreshing to see someone taking their time rather doing a mad dash to the finish. I hope to be able to have some of this patience.

Okay I think this weekend when I do my water change
i'll be taking some rock out and moving it to my 125gal.
See what you got me into I want more room!!
I think that will have to do until I upgrade the tank
My husband says the house sounds the ocean and I can't add any more
tanks so now i'll just upgrade them

GM,

Did you happen to use the golden ratio when you scaped your tank?
