ReefSilly - I am glad my tank had motivated you to move some LR.
200# in a 55? There must hardly be room for water!
The golden ratio sometimes aka the goldenmean is truely natures building block.
One can't help but use it even if you don't realize it.
Patience is probably the most important thing I have learned about salt water and reef keeping. I went slow with my 12g nano and I have had almost no real problems except for a zoanthid wasting disease that wiped out half of my zoa population.
I have seen many new reefers on RAG and other forums rush things (often on the advice of their LFS) and have major problems, become discouraged, and give up their tanks. If only they would listen to the advice of the experienced here.
I will add that the cost of reefing really helps me have patience. I cant afford to have everything right now and then risk losing it all.
I didn't add any fish to my nano for 9 months. I have 2 Ocellaris clowns and a barnacle blenny in a 12g tank with no problems at all. Enough LR, skimmer, and regular waterchanges has allowed me to have health and happy fish.
Due to that experience and the possibility of Cirolanid Isopods (parasite)from the TBS LR/LS I will be waiting several months before adding fish to this tank. I did pull a cirolanid out of the return pump sponge so If I wait to add fish I do not risk the fish having problems caused by this isopod because they will starve without a fish host.

Here is a closer view of the center of the tank.
All of these goodies came with the TBS Package
The Flower anenome is trying to walk through the red macro algae
Some of the coral I have added in the past couple of weeks
Notice the flower anenome hanging upside down in the background?
This Ricordia fl Rock I got from Sharkey's Reef.
I drove out to their brick & morter store.
I hand picked the rics and they mounted them on the rock for me.
There are actually 3 of these purple shrooms with gold trim

On AUgust 10 I received the first part of my Tampas Bay Saltwater Package.
All the LS and about half the LR (~45 lbs)
It has been 3 months and I thought I would share some pics.

OSB
I dont remeber.
did you get your LR from TBS too?
Nope, I got mine from PA. If I ever get a bug up my rear to start another SW tank, I am going to definitely go with TBS. I may just use the rock and not put much else in there and see what happens. The life that comes on that rock seems so much more diverse than other rock.
