The LN is doing well.
He is out of the bag and chowing down on mysis
He is all over the tank and loves the camera.

Hmmm they're not very invert friendly are they? I hear hawks have just the most amazing personalities...

He is so cool! To bad I can't have more fish. Nice article on Hawks in the 2008 Marine Fish and Reef Annual. No swim bladders on these guys, thats why they are so photogenic. Like to perch.

Tank looks great!! I love the hawkfish one of the lfs i was at the other day has 2 of them, they are a great looking fish. I read somewhere though that theyll eat shrimp and inverts, so i was thinking of staying away from it, maybe when my tank establishes itself...

Hawkfish will eat shrimp and small inverts.
But the Long Nose has a much smaller mouth than all the other hawk fish.
I know several reefers who have a LNHF with shrimp hermits with no problems.

Ricordias are an easy way to add color to a tank.

Very nice. I'm about 1/2 a second away from ditching the SPS tank, and go with corals that aren't such a damn PITA. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Love the colors. BTW, have you noticed any growth on your tree sponge? Mine seems healthy but has not increased in size yet.

Gorgeous clams, I've always envied the clam owner, but not the husbandry and pristine water they require, or heard they required. Plus with only T-5s that don't have individual reflectors, I know I will not likely have one :P
