Default ChuckG's 65 gallon tank

So how do you make sure that you have to put your DIY skills to use when setting up a new tank?

You buy a 48" stand for a 36" tank of course. (the free one fell through)

Just took a shot of those the other day. I'm still babysitting a set for another guy.

Mine is the 4 polyp.

It was cheap. This set up is going to be done as cheap as possible and utilizing all the spare parts I have laying around.

The black actually does make for a better match with the 150 even though they are on opposite sides of the room.

Got another bargain today.

85 lbs of live rock @ $2.00 per lb.

Got some NICE shelf rocks in the mix.

Keeping the sump for the new 65 gal as simple as it gets. Only two baffles. Under then Over. Actually goes against what I would normally advise. We'll see how it works. I'm figuring I won't get a micro bubble issue because the flow through the sump won't be all that great.

hmmm Chuck, nice tile job in the pic there. That tan tile looks like the kind my brother, Tewaddle, just laid in my kitchen for me. Very nice!
