Ahhh good ole fashion Dial Up... I remember the days of trying to play games via dial up and how you thought you were winning up til the lag caught up and you found your city destroyed in a matter of miliseconds!

Wife... yeah... I'm very lucky to have such a beautiful, intelligent, courageous, stubourn, motivated, spirited, spiritual, loving, put-up-with-my-crap-when-shes-too-tired-to-cook-dinner, etc etc

Tanks doing fine still, tang is really coming out in personality, he truly runs the tank.

Added a DSB in my fuge for extra pod fun! Not sure why I did it, maybe the fact that the wife said I needed to get that extra sand out of the 5g that I have had running for about 3 months or she'd drop a brick through the side.

Finally done with my internship and I can graduate with my Masters... another milestone reached. So now I have some time to get some more pics up tomorrow!

You've managed to do a nice job aquascaping such a small tank. Posting pictures of your wife, a poodie tat, and a clam; it's REALLY hard to not make off humored comments (I was in the Seventh Fleet for four years you know!!)

In what field did you obtain your masters degree?

Uhoh... military humor... this could get interesting!

I have a BS in Elementary Education K-8 (Science and Math emphasis) and will be recieving, shortly, my Masters in Outdoor Education.

My internship was to spend 240 hours working at a Methodist Summer camp near Gatlinburg TN. It was a great experience and I plan on helping out here and there on the weekends when they have large groups and need Adventure Staff (those who are qualified to run ropes courses, climbing tower or wall, specific hikes etc.

Was a great experience and I was able to bring home a Copperhead for a few snake classes I would like to do. Its illegal to own a copperhead so I will have to release it here shortly but there are a few demonstrations of snake identification I would like to do with some of my students who are into outdoor activities where they might encounter copperheads and watersnakes. Watersnakes are misidentified as copperheads all the time and are killed because of it. Copperheads shouldn't be killed either in my opinion! They all have their place in their ecosystem.

Anyway I'm ranting, I need to go finish these chocolate covered strawberries as a suprise for my wife.

Hey Tangboy, I've got a question...it looks like you have koralia powerheads. How do you keep them from blowing your sand all over the place? What size are they?

Wait...that's two questions...oh well...never said I was good at counting.

I have a Koralia 3 I believe and it does blow a bit of my sand around in the front left but its not so bad. I had two Koralia 3's but that was overkill on my softies.

My Koralia only runs when the daylights are on so my fish can get some more restful rest at night. Also the Koralia comes with a little attachment that you can attach to give it more directional flow so its not disperesed so bad.

In my 75 I have a Seio 820 and a koralia 7(plus about 450gph from the overflow return). I've been slowly vacing out the sand when I do water changes cause I cant keep the sand storms down. If I aim kinda up they still move the sand and I end up with bare patches anyway. Time to go bare bottom I guess.

I would go BB but I have a YWG and Tiger Pistol Shrimp and he likes to bulldoze around so... I need to have some sand for him to play with.
