Default My Slice O' Reef! Dial up beware

K, as I promised. You guys are the first to see these.

Yellow Clown Goby and Shrooms.

Same Shrooms as above minus the goby.

Anthelia(I think ) and Yellow Polyps with green centers.

I belive this is a hairy leather sp.

Purple Shrooms with blue dots on the left.

This is a purple shroom with green tips.

My Peppermint Shrimp.

Well if anyone can tell me the scientific names of these that'd be sweet, but if not no big deal. Thanks RAG!

Peace

Edge

Looks really good. I've never understood the fascination of Nano's, but this looks nice. How easy do you find it keeping things stable ..... It's hard enough in a large reef sometimes

Yup that's my Nano. I have not ever really had a problem other than the pH spike i had when I accidentaly emptied all my Kalk Top off into the tank, it was only a liter but still in a small tank... Other than that I haven't had any issues. I religiously change 15% of the water everyweek, skim 24/7, and test every week. the only supplement I add is the Kalk, and if the CA or Alk is low I'll use Kent Tech CB.

Full tank shot will be up tonight.

The pics are great!! How bout a full tank shot??

Your hairy leather looks like Sinularia dura (cabbage leather)

These shrooms will get VERY large and are rumored to be fish eaters... http://www.ambuscaded.com/edge/images/GreenTip.jpg

Those look like Amplexidiscus f. to you, Kevin?

Could be a plain old Rhodactis? I'm not disagreeing with you - just not sure ... is there something in the pic that gave away a positive ID?

I'll get a better pic of that green tip shroom, better to ID with. but it looks nothing like that pic you posted RL. That thing looks mean.

Thanks for the positive comments.

It looks like a carribean species I've seen before, they get nowhere near as big as the giant cup shroom.

I'm thinking discosoma neglecta.
