Hi Im sorry i dont have pictures yet of my 29 gallon But, my next endevore should brighten things up.
- Dementions/ the tank is going to be 92x36x36
-paraphrased process/ The wood for this tank is going to be exterior grade 1'' plywood. once I have glued and screwed together all of the wood, We then put the glass in the opeaning in the front pannel (we'll use silicone for this part!). Then we coat the inside wood with 2 part epoxy paint (several layers). Then, hopefully it will stay. (we found the instructions on a site called http://www.garf.org/)
-Filter/Im going to use a 65 gal aquarium as a sump/refugium. it's going to have a CPR SR Series Protein Skimmer and all the normal things you would expect in a sump/refugium!
-Misc./ all of the live rock will be made by yours truly (courtesy garf again!) it's called araocrete and they say it is actually better at growing coraline algae( but Im putting that one to the test)
-Lighting/ for the main tank, Im goint to have 2x 48'' JBJ formosa PCs with 4x 65w lights. Down below, Im going to have 3x NO flourescent lights.
so far the details are still a bit aloft but i know ill be able to pull it off, its been done before! I am definately opean for any thoughts, comments on filter, using the refugium for soft coral propigation plumbing ect. Thanx
P.S i dont plan to even have this started until after x-mas, hopefully in January. I'll take plenty of pictures in the mean time!
