here is a close up of the stand with what is now a storage door open. originally i was going to incorporate a sump into the area but didnt get too far with that idea. the hole in the bottom is so the cat can get to its litter box which is also stored in the room out of sight!!!
here is my other frogspawn. it is the coolest piece in my tank IMO,but i cant get a good pic for the life of me. ive tried hundreds of times. anyways thought i would share what i have.
I like your set up, and even your "fish room", but I hope you have good ventilation in your furnace room. You might want to invest in a CO (Carbon monoxide) monitor just in case. Without good air turn over or ventilation you might have a slight build up. It may not be toxic to you, but small species may be susceptible.
I love your colors!

EWELDON-- THERE IS GREAT VENTILATION IN THE ROOM THERE ARE 2 VENTS PLUS THE CEILING IS OPEN TO A DROP CEILING ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. PLENTY OF AIR MOVES IN AND OUT. AS FOR THE CO DETECTOR THERE IS ONE IN THE ROOM AND 2 OTHERS IN THE HOUSE. ( WE HAVE KIDS). SO THAT IS TAKEN CARE OF.
ACROHOLIC-- HOW OFTEN DO YOU RECOMMEND THAT I FEED THE PERCS THAT I HAVE HAD FOR A YEAR AND HAVE GROWN @ LEAST AN INCH EACH??????!!!!?? ALL OF MY FRIENDS AROUND HERE (TOPEKA)WITH RESPECTABLE TANKS RECOMMEND FEEDING FISH ONCE EVERY 2-3 DAYS. READ UP ON IT, IT IS ACCEPTABLE CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF. ITS THE PEOPLE WHO ARE THROWING FISH FOOD IN 2-3 TIMES A DAY THAT RUN INTO PROBLEMS WITH PO4, ALGAE'S, ETC. (ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR DEALING WITH ONLY 20 GALS OF H2O)IM JUST GOING WITH WHAT WORKS FOR ME. I TAKE IT AS A COMPLEMENT THAT THAT IS ALL YOU COULD BASH. THANKS
I TOOK THE PICS WITH A SONY DSC-V1. PRICEY, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY. I THINK THEY WERE GOING FOR ABOUT 7-800 WHEN I BOUGHT IT BUT NOW THEY ARE AROUND $600.
thanks cheeks. acroholic forgot to ask what size the clowns were, they were barely beyond fryes when i got them. very very small, but have come a long ways!!!
