75 FOWLR in transition to reef + DIY stand

Well, I completely tore down the tank, got out all the big and mean fish, pulled the crushed coral bed and laid in find argonite, added the LR back.

Here's The stand to my 75. Its all prefab. Or it was. As they say, once you Pop you cant stop...

I got tired of having wires laying in the floor, so I found an old 8 switch Lighting box for night club lighting, hooked it all up in there.

Then I couldnt keep track of which switch was what When i wanted to clean the filters so I made a list 1-8 of everything, then drew a wiring and plumbing diagram and laminated it and stuck it to the inside of the door.

With my new-found floor room I found space for a high GPH canister filter.

Then of course a UV filter to run in the output line of the canister.

Uh oh can't have that air pump sitting on the ground.... stull noise, I stapled a raggedy old towel on top of it

Then I decided to do away with the buckets... at least the draining half, and buy about 50 ft of hose for my syphon.

Time for a new lighting setup, I got a powerstrip with a built in Timer, and had to add an external timer on a constant line for the blues.

Running out of floor space again, worried about mold and rot, and just plain sick of having boxes and bottles everywhere, it was time to shelve out the doors... Left door is all test kits - basic, reef, traces,, refills, etc.... Right door has a pipe brush, tooth brush, wide flathead for breaking the vacuum seal on the canister, a variety of Medicines, prime, chemicals, clarifier, small food containers, etc.


So i'm about out of ideas I guess I'm off to start on the new canopy for my PC lighting, I just feel like theres more i COULD do underneath.... any suggestions?... I feel reefing coming on soon
