I am a newbie to this reef keeping hobby. In just 6 months, I feel I have accomplished much with the addition of soft corals. I was excited to learn about this web site. I believe it has much to offer a newbie.

I do keep a daily eye on things. I guess I should say that it's 7 months now and that my live rock was purchased from an existing tank that was over five years old.
I do 20 - 25% water changes every two - three weeks. I feed everyother day. I keep the feeding low.
I only added clean up crews for the first three months w/ 2 damsels. I added the fish two at a time - 2 months apart. I am very particular about what, where, when, from whom I accept frags or corals.
My LFS is a great resource of knowledge and corals. \
