Seriously, someone should have told me that Mag-Floats really do work... I finally broke down and bought one... and soon each tank will have one. I thought it was one more thing I would add to my growing box of crap that promises, but does not deliver.

I have spent endless hours trying to scrape algae off my tank with that stupid scrubby thing on a stick deal that DOES NOT WORK...

oh the misery...

hm,

Sorry for not shairing. But I have to say I dont recall you ever asking if they worked either.

Glad you like your new mag-float

They work great but still do little for coraline growth. I still gotta pull the scrapper out for that.

I've found that even trying to use a mag-float on coralline messes up the "scrubby stuff". You should avoid trying to scrape coralline with it if possible.

For coralline algaie, I've found that a disposable razor blade on a plastic handle works GREAT!

Be sure to use it only once, don't want rusted metal in your tank.

I certainly wish that was the only thing I needed to know... but it certainly has been the most gratifying (and cheapest upgrade)!!
