Good IMAC Deal for RAG Members

Have you heard about IMAC? You probably have. It is one of the biggest hobbyist conferences in the country. This year it will be in Chicago on May 30, 31 and June 1. Here is the Speaker List:

In addition to many of the regulars you find at other aquarium conferences, you will find many “new” names on the list since IMAC tries to bring fresh faces to the aquarium circuit. And IMAC gives them a full hour to talk with a 20 minute Q&A and doesn’t rush them off after 45 minutes.

And there will also be a “behind-the-scenes” tour of the Shedd Aquarium, a tour of LFS, a Speakers’ Reception, a Banquet and a Huge Raffle.

It is at a pretty good rate right now at $139 but for members of the RAG Board we are offering a special at $125 good until the end of March. Well, it has been my great pleasure for 6 years to offer IMAC to the community, but now it is time for me to step down for health reasons, after this year.

Since many of you have attended more than one IMAC, I have gotten to know many of you personally. That has been a very pleasant experience for me and I will certainly miss seeing you every year. I Thank You for your continued support and I wish you continued success in your Reefkeeping efforts. I just hope that IMAC may have played some small role in your success. I know I have benefited greatly from listening to all the fantastic Speakers (I’m so busy I don’t have time to see them live but that’s why we videotape them).
