Default Where's your sump?

If you've got a sump, where is it located ? What are the benefits and drawbacks of where you've got it placed?

My sump is under my stand which takes up all the space, I would like to have the skimmer and chiller under there too but no room.

Its a LifeReef 150 trickle filter. Not much sump space. Although when I move the tank I will set up a 55gal as a sump in addition to using the LifeReef.
