For those of you that don't know much about Reefer Madness (RM), they have most of the best looking corals on the net. They have a great rep with the online community and Chris has some awesome show tanks.

They also just admitted that they photo shop their pictures they put on the net.
Actually, Chris said he uses photo shop to tone down the colors because the are excessive when he takes photos under his 1000watt MH. He photo shops them to get them more true to life and has several eye witnesses to support that claim.
Recently to appease the masses and try to get them to look more like they would look in a normal tank not running 1000w 20k he is now photographing under 400w 20k. Thus no longer any need to question the photos.

Hey, thanks Patrick...you took the words right out of my mouth.
We take normal pictures of our corals, and we get nasty remarks. People say we are altering them. So we say...ok. We will use photoshop to take out saturation, and make the corals less nuclear.
...and we get ragged on for using photoshop. Ha ha.
Then we move our photo section to under our 400 watt halides, where it is less intense, and people still want to say our pics aren't real. So waht else can we do? Take them in black and white?
Anyway... not to sound cheeky, but we really feel like we do have some of the best stuff on the net hands down.
I'll just issue the friendly challenge here, like we did on ***********.
Anyone, anytime... no appt. needed. Come by our shop. Come see for yourself. Come meet us. Look at our corals yourself.
And we are very happy to be here.. nice meeting everyone.
Folks at Reefermadness, welcome to RAG. I humbly apologize for my flippant remark above. I actually didn't finish my thought though. I was disappointed to find out that images were edited, because I love your web site and have always planned to order a nice size frag pack or two whenever I get my bigger tank up and running. Too many people rave about the corals that they get from you guys though, so I still have those plans. Glad to have you aboard.
