Besides an oxygen tank I've got lots of fish bags and will have styro shipping boxes w/cooler packs as well. I am low on rubber bands though.

For those interested in camping:

For some reason, pdf files won't open on my computer even after installing Adobe acrobat.

How about a list of local hotel/motels near where you think we will collect.
I was thinking camping at first but for a quick trip I'm not sure I want the added time of set up and tear down.
Also not sure what shape my tent is in anymore. Has been packed away for about 4 or 5 yrs now.

An aerial shot of Ft De Soto

There are slideshows and virtual tours of the area if you follow the link that Cuddle mentioned for camping.

The closer to the water, the costlier the hotel. Howard Johnson on the highway, $60 a night....... Sirata beach resort - @$149 a night (but they have a bar).

In the photo I've circled collecting locales....

I used to work at the Sirata hotel - every once in awhile we would have to send our security guard out to the beach at night to make sure that a guest whose family was concerned about did not get drunk and pass out near the water.

No seriously, Wife wants to take the scenic drive now so no RV this trip. It's about 13 hours for the trip. Do you think the specimens will need something other than cooler and bags with O2? Should I have a power inverter installed and setup heater, powerhead, etc...?
