My Emerald Cling Crab having a Midnight Snack

OKay I placed a small Slice of Fish out for the star fish to munch on but in the reef tank you snooze you loose here is a Night video of my Emerald cling Crab (Algae eater Ya Right) chowing down on it.

Yep he didn't like having my Flashlight shined on him but if you look closes you can see his claws as he scurries back under the rock with his ill gotten gains

Interesting video. I wouldn't blame the crab too much. It had a chance at an easy meal and took it.

Should I be worried about this guy its hard to tell from the video (Yes I know I have a crappy digital camera but I ordered a new one last night) but his claws are about 1 inch long now I saw him snap at a fish last week it was too slow to be an attack IMHO it was more like a "Go away fish this is my rock"

all species are unpredictable individual personalities and tank conditions come into play. What works for one person may not for another. Keep an eye on him
